Our Mission

Our Lady of Good Counsel Camp challenges our youth to grow in character through wholesome outdoor adventures and the Catholic faith.

Who We Are

Our Lady of Good Counsel Camp was founded in 1947 by Monsignor George W. Cummings. As the residential youth camp of the Catholic Diocese of St. Petersburg, we strive to provide campers with a greater knowledge and appreciation of nature and its Creator. Daily Mass and prayer are an integral part of our day while we experience the outdoors in a traditional camp setting. The campers and staff do not have to be Catholic to attend, but all campers and counselors are expected to participate in these services. 

Over the years we have served tens of thousands of children from throughout the state of Florida, the southeast and beyond.  Now we are serving many of the second and third generations of our families. 

Boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 15 are invited to take part in our summer program!
